His family has
farmed for generations. In 1919, he studied at
Huludun Public School and entered Taipei Teachers'
Training School subordinated to Taiwan Governor
Government with great grades in 1926. He learnt
drawing from Mr. Shichuanqin and attained the ¡§Assembly
Award¡¨ at the third Taiwan Watercolor Exhibition
in the fourth grade. In his fifth grade in Teachers' Training School, his work
of ¡§Residence¡¨ was selected in the fourth Painting Exhibition in Taiwan. His
extraordinary genius has shown during this period.
In 1932, Linyoude was sent to teach at Anli Public
School. After six years, he transferred to the
Public School subordinated to the First Teachers'
Training School in Taipei to direct Japanese practical
training students. In 1941, he quitted the teaching
job and served as a reporter at Chinese News Agency
and the editor of Taiwan Rixin News. At the same
year later, he went to Hongkong Governor Government
to execute report affairs, and came back Taiwan
in 1946. In 1951, he took the election of the chief
of Fengyuan Township and won the election. In 1953,
he continued to hold a chief in the second election.
Except for the outstanding behavior in politics,
he still continued and insisted on writing, his
works have been selected at the 24 th , 31 st ,
32 nd and 39 th Province Painting Exhibition and
the 31 st and 32 nd Taiyang Painting Exhibition;
besides, he got a special award at Asiatic Painting
Exhibition held in Tokyo in 1987. He also held Individual
Painting Exhibitions from 1991 to 1997 continually.
His p ast experience and achievement were really
uncommon and remarkable.
