Plum
Old Path was built in 1928 of 500 meters
in length. There is rich of ecological distribution
along the path and beautiful scenery, which
is a walking path suitable for hiking, relaxing
and sightseeing. Its route is from Fengshih
road to Shihgang Junior High School and
Light Channel in the midway, which is essential
road for mountain residences to connect
with outside in eary years. However, since
the Junior High School Lane developed in
1980, the usage rate of this old path had
decreased and thereby gradually covered
by layers of weeds. After 20 years of waste,
local people stived for the funds from Cultural
Development Council to rebuild this path
and already officially started service at
November 16, 2003. This old path has 502
stairs and a worthy group pavilion, camphor
tree chair and plant illustration plate.
It also connects the Light Channel Ecological
Walking Route, the entire walking route
has trees giving the shielter on both sides.
You can finish the whole route within half
hour.
