 Tachia River
not only has sufficient water resources,
but also the river ecology is diversified.
The body of fish is long and flat of the
side. Its length could reach over 30cm.
Its mouth is blunt round and slightly protruding
and two pairs of feeler. The young fish
has seven balck horizontal strip on sides
and is becoming implicit by growing. Its
body color are from yellow green to gray
black and orange red at the end of fin.
Female fish has rounder maw, while male
fish is long and narrower. They scatter
mainly in the rivers on west coast. They
prefer taking rest in turbulent flow or
clear deep pool that only appear in Taiwan.rushing
