The environment around Shihgang County Library is very graceful, the flower and trees in the garden are luxuriant. The garden coffee with booths is open at every Saturday morning, which allow everyone enjoy the book reading combined with the sweet smell of coffee. In addition to the rich book collection, there is a Hakka Museum inside. It is a national superior Township Library deeply with cultural characteristics.

In the time of computerization, in order to let people from villiage better use library and develop the most effect of library, library administrative especially produced a introdution CD to demonstrate the rich content inside the library by using multimedia.
There are three major parts of CD content, they are:
1. ¡§Shihgagn Library¡¨: introduce each floor of this building, the functions and features of each room. 2. ¡§Hakka Museum¡¨: the detail of content are ¡§Shihgang Introduction¡¨, ¡§Shihgang Expressions¡¨, ¡§Country Cultural Relics¡¨ and ¡§Farm Viliage Antiques¡¨ four items to introduce the custome amorous, traditional clothing, Hakka folk song¡K. As to the folk song introuditon, we specially record the song singing by people from villiage and the image file of reciting Hadda Poetries. 3. ¡§Local Old Pictures¡¨ sorting by architecture, transportation, group, people, custom, clothing and industy such items in total of 109 pieces of black and white Shihgang old pictures.
